Bruce Werber, DPM, past president of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons is our guest on Tuesday night. Dr. Werber started his education as a Biomedical Engineer and then attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine. Residency in Los Angles then set up practice in Rhode Island. During the next 25 years he expanded him self to become board certified in both of our boards ABPS & ABPOPPM and grew his practice to a 5-person group all while contributing significant time to enhance our profession. From rising through the chairs in Rhode Island to president of the state and then getting involved in national politics with ACFAS culminating with presidency in 2003. And while all this was going on, his passion for education and learning never faded. Attending fellowships in Greece, Russia, and Israel to further his skill in external fixation and Charcot foot reconstruction. Dr. Werber has shared his knowledge openly with our profession from the seminar stage and to residents and most recently to students. In 2006 he moved to Arizona to become faculty at Midwestern University Podiatric Medicine program. Please join me as we learn from this Teacher, Educator and Leader live on Tuesday night.
