With only a month before the DERMFOOT conference, this is a great time to get tuned up on skin. Dr Joel Morse has arranged for Dr. Chesahna Kindred to join us live for this show, and to answer your questions.
Chesahna Kindred, MD, a board-certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages with diseases and conditions of the hair, skin and nails. In addition to practicing general dermatology and dermatologic surgery, Dr. Kindred specializes in the treatment of Alopecia (hair loss), keloids, skin cancer and disorders specific to individuals of color.
Dr. Kindred is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dermatology, vice chair of the Dermatology Section of the National Medical Association and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Maryland Dermatologic Society and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She subscribes to the aphorism that “the role of the physician is to cure sometimes, treat often, and comfort always.” When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Kindred enjoys speaking at local and national events about skin disorders and volunteering at church.
