Jeffrey Alan Niezgoda, M.D., FACHM, MAPWCA is the Medical Director of The Center for Comprehensive Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Aurora Health Care, and St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jeff is Chief Medical Officer of Hyperbaric & Wound Care Associates, a physician specialty group serving Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. His wound care clinic has a total volume of over 100,000 visits (2010). Dr. Niezgoda is fellowship trained in hyperbaric medicine and wound care and was Board Certified in Hyperbaric Medicine in 2004 and in Emergency Medicine in 2007. Dr. Niezgoda is a fellow of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine, the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is the current President of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. He is a member of The Society for Advanced Wound Care, the Wound Healing Society, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Association of Military Surgeons and the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Niezgoda is a previous member of the Executive Committee of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, having served as the Chairman of the Wound Care Committee Dr. Niezgoda is also the Founder and President of WebCME a novel educational company and industry leader in online wound and hyperbaric education. This educational platform has trained over 3000 physicians and nurses in the areas of hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced wound care. He has lectured extensively both on hyperbaric oxygen therapy and advanced wound care and has presented nearly 200 podium and poster presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Niezgoda holds an M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Bethesda, Maryland, and earned a B.S. in Biology from U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
