Dr. Grady is the recipient of the APMA 2010 Award of Excellence, the 2008 Midwest Distinguished Faculty Award, and the 2000 Alumnus of the Year Award from Rosalyn Franklin University. Dr. Grady had been a former faculty member at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalyn Franklin University (Director of Sports Medicine for eight years and Assistant Chairman of Orthopedics for eight years) until 1989. Dr. Grady has been directing the foot and ankle surgical residency in the VA Chicago Healthcare System for 24 years. In addition, Dr. Grady has been active in research and has had more than 25 publications. In addition to these things, Dr. Grady has been on the Midwest board (President in 1999) and he has been Scientific Chairman of the Midwest Podiatry Convention since 2001 and President of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association in 2000. He currently does committee work for the ABPOPPM and is on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.
