Dr. Lidtke is the Director of the Center for Clinical Biomechanics and is an internationally recognized expert in lower extremity biomechanics related to arthritis, neuromuscular disorders, diabetic wound care, gait and posture Dr. Lidtke serves as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, Section of Rheumatology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago Illinois where he continues to do government sponsored research on knee osteoarthritis. His work has produced numerous awards, book chapters and publications. Dr Lidtke is Board Certified in Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. Dr. Lidtke holds numerous patents and is a consultant for various shoe and orthopedic brace manufacturers. He conducts clinical trials on advanced medical treatments at the Center for Clinical Biomechanics and is an attending at the Covenant Surgical Residency in Waterloo Iowa. Because of his unique research background, Dr. Lidtke offers innovative solutions others may yet to be aware of. He specializes in using his knowledge of gait & movement analysis to treat patients that suffer from musculoskeletal related pain, sports related injuries and diabetes.
